We’re very excited to welcome Joel Gayle back for another full on day with the Boom Community. Coaches for the day will be Joel Gayle, Lydia Powell and our support staff Jess Bateman.

This master class will focus on:

  • Doubles and mixed-specific positioning drills

  • Valuable game based feedback

  • Personal development time

This master class is suitable for:

  • 16+ & Adults

  • Beginner - Intermediate players

  • Club - high standard standard players

    Boom’s very own head coach and performance athlete, Lydia is the heartbeat of the Boom community. A former England National Champion and lifelong high performer, she brings elite knowledge, tough love, and fierce energy to every session. Passionate about development, fitness, and self-improvement, Lydia sets the standard — pushing players to go further, dig deeper, and bring their absolute best. Expect high standards, constant encouragement, and zero shortcuts.

An ex-international badminton player and true student of the game, Joel delivers world-class insight, precision coaching, and razor-sharp tactical knowledge every time he steps on court. Fresh from reaching the semi-finals of the Men’s Singles at the Masters World Championships in Thailand, he brings the intensity, experience, and passion that define what it means to play at the top. He can’t wait to step on court with you!
